Contract Manager

The Contracts Manager is responsible for managing all contractual and commercial aspects of mall development projects, ensuring full compliance with UAE laws and regulations, while protecting the company’s interests and supporting successful project delivery in line with Mirage standards.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related fieldWith over 12 years of experience in contracts management within large-scale mall, retail, or mixed-use developments in the UAE or GCC regionStrong knowledge of UAE construction laws, commercial regulations, and contract practicesExtensive experience with FIDIC and other standard forms of contractProven experience in managing complex claims and dispute resolutionKey Responsibilities:Manage the full lifecycle of contracts for mall development projects, including drafting, negotiation, execution, administration, and close-outPrepare, review, and negotiate contracts with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and service providers in compliance with UAE legal frameworksEnsure all contracts align with applicable UAE regulations, including construction laws, commercial laws, and local authority requirementsAdminister standard forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC) and ensure proper implementation across projectsIdentify contractual and commercial risks and implement mitigation strategiesManage variations, claims, extension of time (EOT), and dispute resolution processes in accordance with UAE legal practicesLiaise with legal advisors to ensure enforceability of contracts under UAE jurisdictionMonitor contractor and consultant performance against contractual obligationsSupport procurement and tendering processes, including preparation of contract documentation and evaluation of bidsEnsure compliance with UAE labor laws in contractual obligations related to contractors and subcontractorsMaintain accurate contract records and ensure proper documentation for audits and regulatory requirementsProvide commercial and contractual advice to internal stakeholders and senior managementOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
