We have set our strategy looking ahead to 2030, to ensure we continue to meet the needs of clients and set ourselves up as a business for the future.About the OpportunityWe currently have an opportunity for a Contract Manager (Senior Consultant) to join our Dubai team, this role will be based in Ras Al Khaimah. This role offers the opportunity to further establish your reputation by applying your specialised expertise across contract management, claims and dispute resolution to support the delivery of a major complex project.This is an onsite role embedded within a contractor project team, providing commercial, contractual and claims management support across the full project lifecycle. Due to the nature of the project and client environment, prior Middle East project experience is essential and will require client approval.We are seeking an experienced consultant-level professional with strong technical capability in contract management, claims and dispute resolution. You will bring well-developed industry knowledge and commercial acumen, with the ability to provide leading technical input, manage complex deliverables and support successful project outcomes.Working closely with Project Managers, clients and project stakeholders, you will contribute to the delivery of project objectives while ensuring alignment with commercial, contractual and operational requirements. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and supporting the development of technical capability across the broader team.We are looking for professionals who enjoy working with diverse stakeholders, bring a self-driven mindset, and demonstrate strong leadership in proactively solving problems and addressing project requirements.As our Contract Manager (Senior Consultant), you’ll be responsible for:Manage contract administration across assigned projects, including interpreting contractual requirements, monitoring key obligations, deliverables and milestones, and maintaining accurate contract records and documentation.Identify and manage contractual and commercial risks by providing advice, preparing and reviewing contractual correspondence and notices, and supporting clients and project teams with appropriate risk mitigation measures.Provide commercial and contractual support across projects, including the administration of main contracts, subcontracts, variations, notices and other commercial matters.Assess and manage commercial and contractual impacts arising from changes, instructions and project events, including matters affecting cost, time, risk and contractual entitlement.Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to resolve commercial matters, manage subcontractor issues and support negotiations with clients, consultants and subcontractors.Lead and support the preparation, review and management of contractual claims and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions, assessing contractual entitlement arising from delays, variations and other project events.Analyse and coordinate commercial and contractual information to substantiate claims, support negotiations and facilitate the resolution of claims and contractual matters.Collaborate with project and commercial teams to manage subcontract and supply chain matters, participate in contractual and commercial meetings, and provide contractual input to project reporting, risk management and decision-making.Support client and project objectives by liaising with key stakeholders, contributing to commercial outcomes, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance client relationships and deliver value.Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships, using effective communication to drive collaboration and maintain high professional standardsLeading and supporting project teams to achieve successful delivery outcomes and key milestonesWhat You'll BringAs our successful candidate you'll demonstrate and bring the following skills and expertise:Relevant bachelor’s or master's degree in quantity surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.5+years' experience post graduate experienceProven Middle East project experience within construction, infrastructure or major projects environmentsExperience working for a specialized claims or expert witness consulting businessContractor-side experience is essentialStrong understanding of contract administration, commercial management and claims processesMRICS or MCIArb statusProven experience in client facing rolesKnowledge of delay analysis techniquesExperience using industry-related software such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, CostX and the Microsoft Office SuiteHigh level of competence in data management and analysisExperiences with using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)Good analytical skillsExcellent communication skills including report writingWhy work at TBHAt TBH, we are ACHIEVEMENT and outcome focused, operating with aligned strategic intent and delivering on our promises to ensure optimum results for our clients.
