Contract Manager (Post-contracts)

We are looking to hire a Contract Manager (Post Contracts) who will be responsible managing activities related to contract administration in accordance with contractual requirements and policies for our client based Dubai- which is one of the largest companies in the region.This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable.Key responsibilities:Manage post-contract administration and commercial management activities in accordance with contractual requirements and company policiesPrepare budgetary cost advice and accurate cost estimates for projectsIssue enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors, prepare bid summaries and support procurement activitiesProvide contractual and commercial advice to safeguard the organisation's interestsPrepare order of magnitude estimates, cost plans, value engineering assessments and cost analysesMonitor and control project costs throughout the design and delivery lifecycleManage tendering processes, contractor evaluations, contract awards and procurement activitiesReview bills of quantities, contractor valuations, variations, claims, contractual notices and payment recommendationsCoordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical and other disciplines to ensure efficient project deliveryPrepare management reports and maintain effective commercial and contractual governanceKnowledge, skills & experience:Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil EngineeringMinimum 12 years' experience within developers/project management consultancies within GCC region.Minimum 4 years experience in a managerial level.Strong knowledge of contract administration, commercial management and claims administrationExperience across residential, infrastructure and building projectsExcellent commercial awareness, negotiation, stakeholder management and analytical skillsAvailability:Preference will be given to candidates available immediately or a maximum 30 days after accepting the offer.
