With its new services, SYSTRA supports its clients and partners in their digital, ecological and energy transition, in order to invent the mobility of tomorrow.We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support procurement and tendering activities on a major rail/metro project. The role will be responsible for the development, review, negotiation support, and finalization of contract documentation for a wide range of procurement packages, ensuring commercial robustness, contractual compliance, and alignment with project objectives.Key Responsibilities:Lead contract formation activities for procurement and tender packages.Prepare, review, and finalize tender and contract documents.Support procurement strategy and selection of appropriate contract models.Draft and amend contractual terms, conditions, and special provisions.Provide contractual and commercial input during tendering, clarification, evaluation, and award stages.Review tenderer deviations and recommend suitable positions.Identify contractual risks and incorporate mitigation measures.Coordinate with procurement, legal, technical, and commercial teams.Support pre-award negotiations with suppliers, consultants, and contractors.Ensure compliance with project procedures, governance, and procurement policies.Maintain complete records of contract documentation, approvals, and revisions.Profile/SkillsMinimum 15 years of experience in contracts, procurement, tender support, or commercial management.Mandatory rail/metro project experience.Strong background in contract formation and pre-award contract management.Proven experience in major infrastructure or transportation projects.Strong knowledge of FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating tender and contract documents.Strong understanding of contractual risk allocation and procurement strategies.Bachelor’s degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Commercial Management, or related field.Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills.Commercially aware and detail-oriented.Strong drafting and negotiation skills.Able to work across multidisciplinary teams in a complex project environment.GCC experience preferred
