Contract-Senior Android Developer

Role : Senior Android Developer Location : Hyderabad, India – HYBRIDDuration : 12+ MonthsInterview : Video Required Qualifications8+ years of professional Android application development experience.Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin.Deep understanding of Android SDK and Android application lifecycle.Experience with Jetpack components including ViewModel, StateFlow/LiveData, Room, Navigation, and WorkManager.Strong understanding of modern Android architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.Experience integrating REST APIs, JSON services, and HTTP-based applications.Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android UI development.Knowledge of Android UI/UX principles and responsive design practices.Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.Strong Git and source-control experience.Experience creating unit and UI tests using frameworks such as JUnit, MockK, Mockito, Espresso, or similar tools.Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Firebase and Google Play Services.Experience implementing mobile security and secure coding practices.Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, biometric authentication, and secure data storage.Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.Experience with application performance monitoring and crash analytics.Exposure to AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.Experience supporting large-scale customer-facing mobile applications.Familiarity with modular Android architectures.Experience modernizing legacy Android applications to Kotlin and Jetpack-based solutions.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
