Contract Specialist

Our client, a regulated payment services provider in the UAE, is looking for a Contract Manager to take ownership of its commercial, vendor and partnership agreements. Sitting within the Legal function, you'll be the person who makes sure every contract the business signs is sound, compliant and properly managed from negotiation through to renewal.What You'll DoDraft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements, addendums and SLAs with clients, vendors and partnersEnsure all agreements align with legal, regulatory and company policy requirementsWork across legal, finance, operations, compliance and business teams to finalise contractual termsBuild and maintain a centralised contract repository with proper documentation and version controlTrack contract milestones, renewals, expiries and ongoing compliance obligationsIdentify contractual risks early and propose practical mitigationAdvise internal stakeholders on contract matters and support internal auditsLiaise with regulatory bodies on compliance documentation and filingsWhat We're Looking For5–8 years in contract management, legal, procurement or commercial rolesStrong grounding in contract law and commercial agreements, with an understanding of regulatory requirements in payment services or fintechFamiliarity with SLAs, vendor agreements and client contracts typical to the payments industryKnowledge of compliance standards, procurement processes and risk managementExcellent drafting and negotiation skills, with the organisational discipline to track many contracts and deadlines at onceProficiency with contract management systems
