Contracting Executive

Pure Escapes is expanding its Thailand portfolio and we are looking for an experienced Contracting Executive with strong knowledge of the Thai luxury hotel market to join our growing team.This is a key commercial role supporting the continued development of Thailand as one of Pure Escapes’ newest and fastest-growing destinations. We are particularly interested in candidates who already have strong hotel relationships in Thailand and understand the contracting requirements of a high-end international DMC and tour operator business.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and develop hotel contracting across Thailand, with additional support for other destinations where required.Negotiate highly competitive hotel rates, tactical offers, value-added benefits, child policies, meal supplements, extra-bed rates, cancellation terms and other commercial conditions.Negotiate free-sale, allotments, release periods and stop-sale conditions to maximise availability and conversion.Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel General Managers, Directors of Sales, Revenue teams and contracting departments.Proactively identify opportunities for exclusive offers, added-value benefits, upgrades, incentives and preferred partner conditions.Ensure hotel contracts, promotions and amendments are correctly entered and updated in the company’s contracting / online systems.Review contracts carefully and identify missing rates, room categories, meal plans, policies or commercial conditions.Monitor expiring promotions and negotiate extensions where commercially beneficial.Analyse room-night production, sales performance, margin, mark-up and availability and take proactive action with hotels to improve results.Maintain accurate records relating to commissions, overrides, incentives, credit facilities and other commercial agreements.Conduct regular hotel visits and site inspections throughout Thailand, including new hotel openings and developing luxury products.Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and communicate important contractual or product information internally.Work closely with Sales, Reservations, Operations and Finance teams to ensure contracts are implemented correctly.Support the resolution of contracting, operational and commercial issues between Pure Escapes, hotels and our international tour operator partners.Identify new hotels and products that would strengthen Pure Escapes’ Thailand portfolio.What We Are Looking ForPrevious experience in hotel contracting, product or commercial roles within a DMC, tour operator, bed bank or luxury travel company.Strong Thailand contracting experience is highly preferred.Existing relationships with luxury hotels and hotel groups in Phuket, Koh Samui, Bangkok, Krabi, Koh Yao Noi and other key Thai destinations would be a significant advantage.Excellent commercial and negotiation skills.Strong understanding of hotel contracts, promotions, cancellation policies, allotments, free-sale agreements and revenue management.Commercial mindset with the ability to analyse production and identify opportunities to improve margin and sales.Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with contracting systems and spreadsheets.Strong relationship-building and communication skills.Fluent written and spoken English.Ability and willingness to travel regularly for hotel meetings and site inspections.About Pure EscapesPure Escapes is a leading luxury B2B Destination Management Company, working exclusively with travel trade partners and specialising in some of the world's most exceptional hotels and resorts.We operate across the Maldives, Seychelles, UAE, South Africa and Thailand, supporting an international network of luxury travel companies and high-value clients.As we continue to expand our Thailand business, we are looking for someone who combines excellent contracting expertise with genuine destination knowledge, strong hotel relationships and the commercial drive to secure the very best conditions for our partners.To apply: Please send your CV together with a short introduction outlining your experience contracting hotels in Thailand.
