Contracts Analyst - Temporary Assignment

Job Purpose:Under the general supervision of the Contract Controller, this role is responsible for providing and performing contracts preparation and renewal services to end-users consistent with existing procedures and policy in an efficient and professional manner to protect Company interests. The job holder participates in supplier certification / pre-qualification. The job requires conducting techno-commercial analysis during the contracts renewal and participating in the development of systems and procedures towards simplification of work process, automation and process re-engineering.Principal Accountabilities:Policy and Procedures:Prepare and revise the Contracts in line with company policy.Make awareness of and perform in accordance with the Company’s established purchasing policies and procedures.Participate and provide input to the review of existing or establishment of new procedures.Monitor and Evaluate Supplier Performance:Regularly monitor and evaluate supplier performance with help of technical coordinators across the group companies and initiate corrective action to remedy deficiencies. Analyse root cause and resolve disputes with suppliers.Finalize the Contracts in accordance to the agreed terms and conditions.Vendor Counselling:Review and analyze vendor related complaints and organize counselling meeting with the vendor and user department. Lead the counselling meeting, writes and circulates minutes instantly and follow up progresses on review date.Technical Data Analysis:Respond to suppliers’ technical queries and analyse technical data in suppliers’ proposals jointly with the end user / technical coordinator.Assistance to Superiors:Perform related duties as assigned by superiors to enable achievement of companies targets and programs.Development of Systems:Carry out studies towards the simplification of work procedures through process redesign and automation.Training Responsibility:Participate in the on-the-job training of trainees and newly hired personnel within the Section to ensure that they develop the necessary skills to independently carry out the assigned procurement activities.Management System (Quality, Environment, Health and Safety):Comply with all relevant ENOC Management System procedures in respect to Quality, Environment, Health and SafetyMinimum Requirement:Qualifications and Experience:Bachelors Degree in Science or Business Administration or relevant Engineering from accredited institution.5 - 7 years direct and relevant experience in a procurement function within oil/gas or petrochemical industry.Professional Certification in Contract negotiations and management.Skills :Knowledge of internal processes, standards, policies and proceduresProfessional and Technical ExpertiseAbility to communicate effectively in written and spoken EnglishAbility to operate standard computer software applicationsKnowledge of basic financeKnowledge of technical terminology in use at process plants (Process Knowledge)Knowledge of market practices and sources of supply and commercial lawsAbility to conduct market data collectionKnowledge in supply logisticsNegotiation skillsAbility to suggest technically equivalent alternative proposalsBehavioral Competencies :Service OrientationCommitmentIntegrityCommunicationInformation SeekingAchievement DriveTeamworkDeveloping ExpertiseAnalytical Thinking
