Contracts Manager

Currie & Brown is looking for a Contracts Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi with Infrastructure/Mixed-Use Development projects experience while working with a key client.What will you be doing?Review plans, specifications and contracts to ensure the correct equipment, material and subcontractor services are ordered and/or purchasedMaintaining Client relationships and delivering commercial and contracts reports according to the clients’ requirements.Manage the contract lifecycleDetermine or negotiate contract terms and conditions, award supplier contracts or recommend contract awardsReview and update existing contractsExplain terms and conditions to managers and relevant partiesEstablish delivery schedules, monitor progress, and contact clients and suppliers to resolve problemsHelping develop and implement Commercial StrategiesAnalyze potential risks involved with specific contract termsWork with project managers, architects, engineers, owners and others to make sure project goals are metEnsure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met.Maintain organized system of physical and digital recordsWhat do you need?Proven work experience as a Contract ManagerBasic Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contractsExcellent writing skillsKeen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errorsStrong analytical and organizational skillsAbility to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partnersDegree in Quantity Surveyor or Equivalent.Our corporate valuesAt Currie & Brown, we know that when it comes to a good idea, it doesn't matter where it comes from.
