Legacy, a Hassan Allam Holding company, is responsible for operating the Grand Egyptian Museum.Position Overview:You will lead a specialized unit within the Contracts Department—focusing on either Operations or Cost Management—managing a diverse portfolio of CAPEX and OPEX contracts. You will be responsible for streamlining workflows, safeguarding commercial interests, ensuring strict financial control, and acting as the primary point of escalation for high-stakes contractual matters.
Key Responsibilities
Spearhead the drafting, negotiation, and finalization of complex CAPEX and OPEX contracts, spanning across construction, facility management (FM), security, marketing, PR, and consultancy services.Lead the end-to-end contract administration process, ensuring all agreements align with the company’s strategic, financial, and legal frameworks.Oversee commercial and cost control functions, including the rigorous review of Bill of Quantities (BOQs), interim payment certificates (IPCs), variations, and final accounts to ensure strict budget adherence.Monitor and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for service providers, and manage daily operational site challenges.Manage complex claims, extensions of time (EOT), and dispute resolution processes, translating technical, financial, or operational issues into robust contractual defenses.Design and implement scalable tracking tools and dashboards to monitor contract lifecycles, commercial risks, and financial performance.Mentor, guide, and evaluate team members (Analysts and Junior Engineers/Lawyers) to ensure departmental excellence.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, or a related field (MBA or specialized contracts diploma is a strong plus).Minimum 7–10 years of experience in contract management, or cost control, preferably within mega-projects, facility management, or complex commercial environments.Deep expertise in drafting and negotiating CAPEX and OPEX agreements from scratch, tailored to specific business needs.Proven leadership skills with the ability to transition from operational/financial details to strategic decision-making.Residence in West Cairo or surrounding areas is highly preferred.
