Working closely with leading customers in the semiconductor industry, (autonomous) robotics, precision positioning and optical communication, they develop and build complex high-tech systems and modules — from first concept and prototype through to qualified end product. Development, engineering and production come together on one site, which means ideas move quickly from the drawing board to a working machine.What you'll doAs Control Systems Integrator you take the lead in the detailed design and integration of control systems for high-tech applications: semiconductor equipment, (autonomous) robotics, positioning stages and laser-based communication modules. You work side by side with system architects, software engineers and mechatronics teams to bring systems from prototype to end product.Designing and implementing controllers, including SW and FW interfaces, on both custom-made and off-the-shelf control platforms (such as PLC software in Beckhoff TwinCAT).Integrating, configuring and troubleshooting real-time controllers.Carrying out machine calibrations and controller tuning to achieve optimal performance and stability.Analyzing system behaviour and identifying improvements based on test results.Building tools for simulation, data analysis, diagnostics and visualization.Developing and maintaining Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation setups.Acting as the technical point of reference within a multidisciplinary engineering team, where testing and validation determine whether a complex system runs reliably and reproducibly.What you bringA Master's or Bachelor's degree in Control Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable technical discipline.At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a lead-engineering or senior engineering role.Demonstrable experience with real-time controller integration, controller design, machine calibration and controller tuning.Proficiency in one or more of the following: MATLAB/Simulink, TwinCAT, Python, LabVIEW.Experience in a high-tech environment such as semiconductors, robotics, positioning stages or laser-based communication modules.Good command of English, both spoken and written.What's on offerEmployment conditions that are identical to those of the client's own employees, since the client sets these terms.Holiday days and ADV in accordance with the client's collective labour agreement.A full-time position with a genuine prospect of a direct contract with the client.Complex, one-of-a-kind systems for demanding customers, with real ownership over the control architecture.A working environment where development, engineering and production are on one site, so you see the result of your work in hardware.Please note: this role is not suitable for freelancers or self-employed contractors (zzp'ers).Interested?
