Role Description This part-time Control Systems Specialist role at Burjeel Arabia | برجيل العربية is a hybrid position based in Dubai, with a mix of on-site work and work-from-home flexibility. The specialist will support the design, implementation, monitoring, and optimization of control systems across facilities, ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and maintaining SCADA systems, analyzing system performance data, troubleshooting control-related issues, and collaborating with engineering and operations teams to improve processes. The role also involves preparing technical documentation, generating reports using tools such as Microsoft Excel, and delivering training and guidance to staff on system usage and best practices. The successful candidate will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.Qualifications Strong analytical skills to interpret system data, diagnose issues, and recommend effective solutions.Experience in systems engineering, including design, integration, and maintenance of control and automation systems.Proficiency with SCADA platforms for monitoring, control, and reporting of facility operations.Ability to use Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and documentation of system performance.Experience delivering training and technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams on control systems and related tools.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, control systems, automation, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).Knowledge of industrial control standards, safety practices, and cybersecurity considerations for control systems.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and coordinate with on-site and remote stakeholders.Relevant industry certifications or experience in healthcare, facilities management, or complex building systems are an advantage.
