Controller ($140-180K + Bonus)

Summary/ObjectiveOur client is a well-established, family-founded services business based in New York City with decades of history in the local market. We are seeking a hands-on Controller to own day-to-day financial operations and report directly into senior leadership. This is an opportunity to bring structure and consistency to a growing, established business, transitioning it from outsourced support to a dedicated in-house finance leader.1-2 days onsite in NYC Key Responsibilities Include:Own and manage the full accounts payable process, including vendor payments and invoice processingMonitor and manage day-to-day cash flow and banking activityMaintain accurate books and records within QuickBookPrepare monthly financial statements and reporting for ownershipReconcile bank accounts and credit card activitySupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial planningPartner directly with ownership on financial decision-making and operational prioritieaBring structure, process, and controls to the finance function as the business scalesQualifications:Strong QuickBooks experience requiredPrior Controller or senior accounting experience, ideally in a small business or family-owned company environmentComfortable owning the finance function independently with minimal oversightStrong organizational skills and attention to detailBased in or around NYC, with flexibility to work onsite 1-2 days per weekTO FORMALLY APPLKY:If you've gotten this far ... please send an email to Evan@the-greenegroup.com with the SUBJECT of the email as your FAVORITE RESTAURANT and a copy of your RESUME.
