ControllerConstruction materials company in south Fort Worth is adding a Controller to their team!Responsibilities include:Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow reports, ensuring compliance with GAAPEstablish, monitor, and enforce internal controls to protect company assets; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; coordinate audits and regulatory filingsOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and other accounting functions; maintain accurate records of all financial transactionsProvide financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-making; participate in strategic planning and policy developmentManage and supervise accounting and finance staff, including financial analysts and accountants; coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data collection and reportingMonitor cash flow, optimize bank balances, and manage investments to maximize returns and minimize riskQualifications:7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting or finance, with experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controlsExperience with job-shop manufacturing accounting requiredPrevious experience managing a team of up to 8 accounting associatesExperience closing books and reporting financialsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills and knowledge of regulatory requirementsProficiency in Sage or a similar systemBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration; CPA certification is preferredDirect Hireon SiteM-F, 8a-5p$100K
