The RoleThis is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys building, improving processes, and operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will serve as the CFO’s right hand on all accounting matters and help establish the foundation for a scalable finance function.What You’ll Be DoingLead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, close process, and financial reportingBuild and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls from the ground upPartner with the CFO on financial strategy, reporting, and operational decision-makingAssist in developing scalable processes to support a high-growth, membership-based business modelSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management initiativesEvaluate and optimize ERP and financial systems (current platform in place)Play a key role in building out the accounting/finance team over timeWhat They’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fieldExperience in membership-based, subscription, or recurring revenue environments is a plusCPA preferred8–12+ years of relevant experience in accounting/financeMix of public accounting and/or corporate experiencePrior experience in a Controller or Assistant Controller capacityStrong process improvement and systems experienceERP exposure required; Great Plains a plusCompensation: 140k - 165k base plus bonus
