From multifamily communities and colleges to corporate campuses, medical facilities, municipalities, and athletic performance centers, we help our clients design, equip, and support fitness environments that make a meaningful impact in their communities.As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Controller to lead our accounting function and strengthen our financial foundations.The OpportunityThis is a high-impact role for an accounting leader who thrives on operational precision, accuracy, and process improvement. The Controller will manage day-to-day accounting operations, enforce robust internal controls, and partner with executive leadership to ensure financial clarity, accuracy, and compliance as we expand.What You'll DoManage all day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, GL, AP, AR, payroll, and cash management.Oversee financial reporting, tax filings, audits, GAAP compliance, and internal control frameworks.Partner with executive leadership to support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.Strengthen accounting systems, automation, and workflows to improve operational efficiency.Ensure accurate, timely financial statements and provide actionable reporting to guide leadership decisions.Manage risk, maintain compliance, and oversee financial vendor/partner requirements.What We're Looking For5+ years of progressive accounting experience (Controller, Accounting Manager, or Senior Accountant) in high volume B2B firmsExperience working with multiple organizations and consolidation of financialsExpertise in corporate financial planning and analysis, revenue recognition under GAAP, multi-state drop-ship tax regulations, and commission/rebate audit structures.Proven track record in high volume, fast paced business environments.Strong executive presence, strategic mindset and exceptional communication skillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; active CPA strongly preferred.Why Advanced Exercise?This is an opportunity to take ownership of our accounting engine, build scalable financial processes, and directly support the operational and financial growth of a dynamic, market-leading company.Compensation: Salary Exempt $165,000 to $185,000 annually
