This position offers broad ownership, meaningful influence, as the company continues to expand.If you thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy improving processes, and want your work to directly shape the future of a growing organization, this is an outstanding opportunity.What You’ll Own & LeadLead Core Accounting OperationsOversee all Accounts Receivable activities (invoicing, collections, cash application)Manage Accounts Payable, vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and payment runsPartner with HR to ensure accurate and timely payroll processingEvaluate, strengthen, and streamline accounting policies and proceduresOwn the Financial CloseLead monthly, quarterly, and annual close cyclesPrepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statementsDrive continuous improvement and ensure full GAAP complianceDrive Reporting & Financial InsightDevelop budgets, forecasts, and variance analysesDeliver clear, actionable reporting to executive leadershipTranslate financial data into practical business recommendationsServe as a Strategic Business PartnerCollaborate with business unit leaders to align financial processes with operationsProvide financial guidance that improves performance and decision-makingPartner cross-functionally with HR, legal, risk management, and treasuryStrengthen Controls & ComplianceMaintain documentation and coordinate with external advisors (including tax firms)Enhance internal controls to support accuracy, scalability, and operational efficiencyBuild & Develop a High-Performing TeamHire, mentor, and develop accounting staffFoster a collaborative, accountable culture in a hybrid environmentSupport professional development and continuous improvementWhat You BringEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership roleTechnical Expertise: Strong proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skillsGAAP Knowledge: Solid technical accounting foundation with process improvement experienceLeadership Ability: Proven track record of coaching and developing team membersCommunication Skills: Ability to clearly explain financial concepts to both financial and non-financial stakeholdersMindset: Analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and proactiveWhy This Role Stands OutHigh visibility with executive leadershipOpportunity to build and shape processes during rapid growthBroad ownership across accounting and financeCompetitive compensation up to $150K base + bonusCollaborative, growth-oriented cultureIf you’re ready to step into a leadership role where your impact is immediate and your advancement is intentional, this opportunity is worth exploring.
