Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.Oversee general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial statement preparation.Develop and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls as the company scales.Own the finance side of the ERP system, improving processes, reporting, data integrity, and system functionality.Support budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and other financial planning initiatives.Manage external audit relationships and coordinate annual audits and financial reviews.Oversee tax and payroll accounting activities and related compliance requirements.Manage accounting for equity programs and employee stock plans.Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes and build scalable financial infrastructure.Lead and develop accounting team members while establishing effective processes and priorities.Partner with executive leadership on financial performance, business decisions, fundraising, and growth initiatives.Must-Have Skills:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldActive CPA license7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experienceManufacturing industry experienceProven leadership experience managing, mentoring, and developing accounting teamsStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controlsProven experience leading month-end and year-end close processesExperience with ERP systems and financial process improvementExperience managing external audits and working with outside accounting advisorsStrong Excel and analytical skills with excellent attention to detailStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively with executive leadership.Nice-to-Have Skills:Technology, SaaS, or software industry experienceExperience in a venture-backed or high-growth startup environmentFundraising or investor-facing experienceERP implementation or transformation experienceExperience with equity compensation and employee stock programsExperience leading and developing a growing accounting team
