Our client, a multinational company based in Dubai is urgently looking for a Controller.Main AccountabilitiesInvestment ControllingSteer and control all investment (financial) activities as well as the planning of specific items, follow-up processes and approval processesControl the acquisition of assetsPrepare the post-completion reviewsCreate, maintain and supervise the key figures in the area of responsibilityCost AccountingManage the preparation of the cost accounting records; develop and implement the cost control systems and procedures, compute the project costs, compare the actual costs to the estimates and analyze the variancesAnalyze the cost records and the calculation of the unit cost for the products or services related to a specific job or project; examine any costs that seem contrary to past experiencePrepare and emit the statistical reports for the comparison of costs and for the determination of the profitability of the product and analyze the resultsManage a consolidated annual budget plan, establish and coordinate the budgeting systems and procedures; identify and analyze the variationsMonitor and review the actual financial performance against the budget, prepare and emit the statistical reports for the comparison between the current situation and the budgeted forecastDetermine and execute action plans to improve the financial performance if the business is not performing to plan, prepare financial forecasts and provide analysis of the resultsManage the financial forecasts, planning, analysis activities and projects; provide evaluations, prepare the reports and make recommendations about the financial implications of the proposed investments and transactions (follow the CapEx procedures)Interpret the financial information on costs, prices, expenses and revenues and make recommendations for improvementsEvaluate the industry, economic, financial, and market trends (e.g.revenues, expenses, costs, prices, investments, cash flow, profits, labor market trends, inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates) to forecast the short, medium and long-term financial and competitive positionCreate, maintain and supervise the key figures in the area of responsibilityReportingParticipate in the financial data collection processDevelop and maintain the standard reporting packages and documentationProvide support in the preparation of the consolidated financial statementsCreate, maintain and supervise the key figures in the area of responsibilityInventory ManagementSteer and control the process of inventory levels for the finished goodsManage the reporting systems (in collaboration with the logistics department)Manage the budgeting and forecasting activities, and review the actual statusCreate, maintain and supervise the key figures in the area of responsibilityReceivables ManagementSteer and control the company/location´s receivables in terms of the control payment terms and the payment behavior of the customers, especially management of overdue paymentsCreate, maintain and supervise the key figures in the area of responsibilitySales ControllingControls and understands the changes in the sales structure as well as the changes in pricing (LTAs, Savings on current business, boni).Provides regular information to his business partners (reports, analyses, etc.) to get an understanding of current developments compared to Plans and Forecasts).Performs customer development checks as well as status reports.Understands in general the market and customer development (incl. pricing, strategy and future profitability of the customers and productsDrives improvement activities (increase margin).Maintains all relevant KPIsOverhead ControllingControls the status and the development of spending, investments and hiring in OH departmentsReports the financial impact for the P&L and BS by cost types, cost centers and internal ordersSupport the business to help steering the business and derive the right decisionsMaintains all relevant KPIsOffers / Quotation ControllingSteer and maintain all customer offersCheck and consolidate the applicable figures from the Sales and Product Management departments in order to create reasonable offersCreate, maintain and supervise the key figures in the area of responsibilityInternal AuditCreate/use the internal control systems in order to ensure compliance with the relevant procedures and, thus, minimize the financial risksCreate, maintain and supervise the key figures in the area of responsibilityJob Requirements (Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Competencies)University degree in Business Administration, Finance or other relevant field of education with specialization in Controlling and Internal AuditMin. 5 years of relevant work experienceMS Office skillsSAP skills (FICO)Fluency in English (written and spoken)
