Day-to-day tasks may include designing simple event menus, coordinating ingredient sourcing, preparing dishes in a home or remote kitchen, and ensuring food safety standards are consistently met. The Cook collaborates with organizers to understand event themes and dietary needs, then adapts recipes accordingly to support an inclusive environment. This role may also involve documenting recipes, sharing cooking tips for internal content, and managing time effectively to meet event schedules with reliable, high-quality output.Qualifications Demonstrated skills in meal planning, recipe development, and food preparation for small to medium groups.Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and proper kitchen organization.Ability to accommodate varied dietary preferences and restrictions, such as vegetarian, vegan, and allergy-friendly options.Strong time management, reliability, and self-motivation in a remote working environment.Clear communication skills for coordinating with event organizers and team members.Access to a suitable kitchen environment and necessary cooking equipment.Prior experience in catering, culinary arts, or event cooking is beneficial.High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or certification is a plus but not required.
