Joining Latin Trails offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic tourism environment, contribute to meaningful travel, and grow within a mission-driven company.ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY IS REQUIREDRole Description The Coordinador de Operaciones Receptivo Ecuador is a full-time, on-site role based in Quito.We are looking for an Operations executive with at least 4 years of experience operating inbound and receptive travel programs in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. This position is responsible for coordinating day-to-day incoming operations for travelers in Ecuador, including the Galapagos and mainland itineraries. Typical tasks include managing bookings and reservations, confirming services with local suppliers, guides, hotel relations, preparing travel documentation, and monitoring operational schedules to ensure smooth execution of tours and cruises. The role also involves responding to needs of the reservations and sales team, negotiating rates, preparing itinerary templates, building a tariff guide, handling last-minute changes, and providing effective customer service before and during trips.The coordinator must have experience with assignment of guides and transport as well as a good understanding of the tourism routes in all regions of Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.The coordinator will work closely with sales, logistics, and administrative teams to maintain accurate records, resolve operational issues, and uphold Latin Trails’ quality and ethical standards. The coordinator will be part of a team of people who assist with the operation of files from several clients.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including coordination of services, scheduling, and follow-up with suppliers. At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.Canidates should have a strong knowledge of Ecuador tourism geographyCandidates should have studied tourism, have used tourplan or similar softwareCandidates should possess effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients, partners, and internal teams.Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to address traveler needs, manage expectations, and resolve issues promptly.Candidates should possess Administrative Assistance skills for organizing documentation, handling reservations, and maintaining accurate records.Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to review itineraries, anticipate operational challenges, and support decision-making.Candidates should have experience assigning guides and transportation with time optimization for routes around mainland Ecuador and Galapagos IslandsProficiency in Spanish is required; good command written and spoken of English is required.Experience in recpetive tourism services destination management operations in Ecuador and the Galapagos of at least 4 years, is required.Strong attention to detail, ability to work under time pressure, and familiarity with office and reservation software are desirable.
