We are here to help our clients meet these evolving energy needs.This is an exciting time to join us on this journey.Are you ready to bring the right energy to Petrofac and help us deliver a better future for everyone?JOB TITLE: Coordinator I, PTWKey ResponsibilitiesOversee the end-to-end PTW process, Initial screening of PTW document for completeness; Verifying PR and PA are authorized to raise permits and accept permits respectivelyMaintain up-to-date registers/ tracking of Permits and Certificates with cross references and a display board of all active Permits and Certificates in use over the site, together with a separate display board for Isolation Certificates; Managing the PTW register.Ensure that all permits and associated certificates are approved and relevant documents including Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Formal Risk Assessments (FRA) / Task Risk Assessment (TRA), Method Statements, drawings, etc. are attached to the PTW form (as applicable) and are signed by all relevant parties and approved by Construction/ Commissioning/OperationsEnsure that all permit signatories pass the required Client competency assessment to use the PTW system/ safe system of work. Maintain the approved Permit Applicant/ Permit Holder logCo-ordinate with the sub-contractor PTW Coordinators for the planned activities, review the permits and supporting documentsCommunicate the daily PTW log to all Construction/ Commissioning and HSSE teamFacilitation of IWAP (daily PTW meeting) and participationFacilitate and document SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations) meetingsManage the PTW Office and organize PTW coordination meetings with Permit Applicant/ Area Authority and Issuing Authority (if required)File the closed out Permits for records and preserve for record keepingCo-ordinate with client PTW Coordinator for the approval of permits. Attend the daily SIMOPS/ PTW meeting with all other contractors and communicate with Area Authorities about SIMOPS activitiesConduct periodic audits and site inspections with HSSE and Construction/ Commissioning teams to ensure all work adheres to Client HSSE standardsManage the electronic Permit To Work System and track permit status from initiation to closureManagement of Lock Out Tag Out systemEssential Qualifications And ExperienceBachelor’s Degree (4 years) or Diploma (3 years)NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent5 years of PTW experience in Oil & Gas onshore/offshore projects, with specific experience in turnarounds, shutdowns, or piping projectsSkills And CompetenciesFamiliarity with Electronic / Permit To Work System process (for brownfield works) and digital Risk Assessment toolKnowledge and understanding of all steps, roles & responsibilities in the Client PTW process including the functioning of the Planning Process and the Daily PTW Planning MeetingKnowledge of all required documentation (supporting certificates, attachments, etc.) attached to the permitAbility to effectively manage the PTW registerAbility to effectively manage the status display boards in Permit Control Facility (PCF)Knowledge of LOTO system and key managementAbility to archive the closed PTW and associated documentsAbility to lead safety-related discussions and enforce PTW protocolsAwareness of practical H2S control measures, Fire Fighting, and First Aid trainingKnowledge of safety procedures and EPC environmentsAbility to speak, read and write English with good communication skillsProficiency with Client PTW System, strong risk assessment capabilities, and clear communication skills.Proficiency with handling e-mobility devicesPrevious Client approval is an added advantageAdditional Information
