Copier/MFP Engineer (On Field)

We are looking for an experienced Copier Technician / Service Engineer with strong hands-on experience in multifunction printers, copiers, and office printing systems.The successful candidate will be responsible for advanced troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, networking, print-quality diagnosis, and technical support while ensuring maximum machine uptime and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair complex copier and MFP hardware faults.Install and commission A3/A4 colour and monochrome multifunction printers.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and image-quality problems.Repair and replace components including:Fuser unitsDrum unitsDeveloper unitsTransfer beltsTransfer rollersPaper feed systemsADF/SPDF unitsPCBsMotors and sensorsLaser/optical componentsPerform firmware updates and machine configuration.Configure network printing and scanning.Set up scan-to-folder, scan-to-email, SMB, SMTP, LDAP, and address books.Troubleshoot printer drivers, network connectivity, and user printing issues.Support Windows-based printing environments.Diagnose colour registration and print-quality issues.Read service codes, error logs, counters, and diagnostic information.Conduct machine inspections before delivery or installation.Provide technical support to junior technicians.Identify recurring machine issues and recommend corrective action.Maintain minimum downtime for contract customers.Prepare detailed technical and service reports.Coordinate spare-parts requirements with the service department.Monitor spare-parts consumption and machine maintenance requirements.Provide customer training on machine operation when required.Escalate major technical issues to manufacturers or technical support teams when necessary.Requirements5+ years of hands-on copier/MFP technical experience.Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, Computer Hardware, or related technical discipline.Strong knowledge of colour and monochrome digital copier technology.Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.Strong understanding of networking, TCP/IP, SMB, SMTP, printer drivers, and scanning configurations.Ability to independently handle major breakdowns.Ability to read service manuals and technical documentation.Experience handling multiple copier models and configurations.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to mentor junior technicians.UAE copier service experience is preferred.Valid UAE driving licence is highly preferred.Preferred Technical ExperienceHands-on service experience with Ricoh, Sharp, Canon, Toshiba, Xerox, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, Fujifilm, OKI, or similar copier brands is preferred.Experience with Managed Print Services, print management software, authentication solutions, and production printing equipment will be an additional advantage.
