Corporate Accounting Manager Reporting to Senior Manager – Accounting and Financial ReportingJob Purpose:To lead the Group’s corporate accounting and statutory reporting agenda, taking full ownership of statutory audits, statutory consolidation and monthly statutory records across all legal entities. To deliver technically sound accounting workings based on IFRS. i.e. ECL under IFRS 9 and IFRS 16 leases, Agriculture under IAS 41), quarterly statutory financial statements and Annual Reports for public companies in KSA, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and the disclosure requirements of the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and Tadawul.Key Accountabilities:Lead the Group’s annual Statutory Audits across all legal entities – own the audit timetable, act as the primary liaison with external auditors, manage the audit requirement (PBC) schedules and drive closure of audit queries and adjustments through to signed statutory financial statements.Own the Statutory Consolidation of the Group in accordance with IFRS 10, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, non-controlling interests, goodwill and consolidation adjustments.Maintain accurate and complete Monthly Statutory Records for each legal entity, ensuring statutory ledgers are reconciled, aligned to management reporting, and supported by a clear audit trail of all statutory-to-management reporting differences.Prepare and review Expected Credit Loss (ECL) Workings under IFRS 9 – provision matrix, ageing and customer segmentation, historical loss rates and forward-looking macro-economic overlays – and document the methodology and key judgements for audit review.Prepare and maintain IFRS 16 Workings, including the Group lease register, right-of-use asset and lease liability schedules, incremental borrowing rate assessment, modifications, remeasurements and related disclosure notes.Lead the implementation and ongoing application of IFRS 8 Operating Segments – define reportable segments, build the segment reporting framework and prepare segment disclosures and reconciliations to the consolidated financial statements.Lead the implementation and ongoing application of IAS 41 Agriculture – identification and classification of biological assets, fair value measurement and valuation models, point-of-harvest accounting and related disclosures, working with agronomy and operations teams on the underlying data.Prepare Quarterly Statutory Financial Statements, including interim condensed financial statements under IAS 34, with all supporting notes, schedules and reconciliations, within regulatory reporting deadlines.Lead the preparation of Annual Reports for public / listed companies in KSA, ensuring compliance with Tadawul and CMA disclosure, filing and announcement requirements.Act as the Group’s technical accounting reference point – assess the impact of new and amended IFRS standards, prepare accounting position papers, and maintain the Group accounting policies manual.Manage the month-end, quarter-end and year-end statutory close calendar, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately, reviewed and delivered on time.Safeguard balance sheet integrity through review of reconciliations, accruals, provisions, impairment assessments, fixed assets and related party balances.Coordinate with Tax, Treasury and Internal Audit on statutory filings, Zakat / corporate tax and VAT positions, and internal controls over financial reporting.Drive technical automation across the finance function – identify opportunities to enhance systems, ERP workflows and reporting processes around statutory close, consolidation and reconciliations, and lead their implementation to improve accuracy, controls and close cycle time.Support the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) framework – document and test key controls, remediate control gaps and ensure process compliance across the finance function with the support of the wider finance team.Lead, coach and develop the corporate accounting team – set objectives, review the quality of output and build technical IFRS capability within the team.Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, advisors and internal stakeholders – align on requirements, timelines and deliverables, and Values:QualityInnovationAuthenticityIntegrityExperience requirement:Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in accounting and financial reporting, including at least 3 years in a managerial role leading a corporate accounting or statutory reporting function.Big 4 / professional audit firm background with strong statutory audit and group consolidation exposure is highly preferred.Demonstrated hands-on experience in statutory consolidation, ECL (IFRS 9) workings and IFRS 16 lease workings.Hands-on implementation experience of IFRS 8 Operating Segments, including segment identification and disclosure preparation, is essential.Hands-on implementation experience of IAS 41 Agriculture, including biological asset recognition, fair value measurement and valuation, is essential.Proven track record of preparing statutory financial statements and Annual Reports.Strong working knowledge of IFRS.Working knowledge of Zakat and Corporate Tax (KSA and UAE), including computations, provisioning and filings, is an advantage.Experience in FMCG, retail or multi-entity, multi-currency group environments is preferred.Advanced ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar) and advanced Excel; consolidation tool experience is an advantage.Proficiency in English (both verbal and written) is a must; Arabic is an advantage.Ability to deliver against tight statutory deadlines, manage stress and prioritise multiple responsibilities.Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management and team leadership skills.Qualification and Licenses requirement:Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, ICAEW or other equivalent profession bodies.Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.SOCPA registration / membership is an advantage for KSA statutory
