Position SummaryThe incumbent will act as a key member of the Corporate Communications Department, planning and executing strategic communication initiatives that elevate BEA’s brand reputation and support business growth. This role focuses on positioning the Bank as an industry leader, particularly across Fintech, Wholesale Banking, HR, Facility Management and Sustainability by driving impactful media stories and delivering quality corporate events.ResponsibilitiesHandle media enquiries and maintain media databaseCreate communications materials including press release, speeches, presentations and social media contentCo-ordinating media interviews that align with the overall business objectives and brand positioningMonitor daily news and handle monthly media coverage reports. Identify potential reputation risks and industry trendsBuild and maintain strong relationships with regional and local media outlets through diverse and strategic tactics, particularly with finance and fintech mediaDrive integrated digital communications across key channels including corporate website, LinkedIn and IntranetPlan and support media engagement activities, including media events, sponsorship activations, product/service launch ceremonies, economic outlook sessions and other press initiativesProactively liaise with business units, media partners, vendors and others to ensure the successful delivery of eventsCo-ordinate logistics, vendors and budgets, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the project management and proper governanceRequirementsUniversity degree holder, preferably in communications, journalism, marketing or related disciplines;6-8 years of relevant experience with proven track record in media relations and event management;Proficient in using AI tools, excellent knowledge and practice skills in media relations & digital media;Innovative, creative and resourceful, with strong sense of ownership and growth mindset;Excellent commend of both written and English, Cantonese & PutonghuaFamiliar with social media operationsPersonal data provided by job applicants will be used for recruitment purposes only and will be treated in accordance with the Bank's Personal Information Collection (Employees) Statement and Privacy Policy Statement.
