Corporate Controller

Controller Denver, CO$150-180k base + bonus + equityOur client, a Denver area based Tech Services company is looking to add a Controller to join their growth organization. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the President/CEO. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical accounting background, a proven ability to lead teams, and the mindset of a builder who enjoys creating structure in a growing environment. The Controller will play a critical role in strengthening accounting operations, improving reporting processes, maintaining audit readiness, and scaling the finance function as the company continues to grow organically and through acquisitions.Responsibilities for Controller in Denver, CO:Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across a multi-entity organizationOversee consolidations, intercompany accounting, eliminations, and financial reporting activitiesPartner with Finance leadership on reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysisManage and develop a team of accounting professionals, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvementSupport M&A accounting and post-acquisition integration effortsRequirements:BS in Accounting or Finance8+ years of progressive accounting experience OR Big 4/top-tier public accounting experienceExperience managing multi-entity consolidations and intercompany accountingStrong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognitionExposure to M&A accounting and integration preferredExperience with NetSuite or similar ERP systemsWe are looking for someone who takes ownership, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and enjoys building scalable processes that support business growth.
