Job Summary and Scope of ResponsibilitiesThe Associate will support the establishment of new operating businesses for Crescent Enterprises and help build growth platforms at scale for the firm. The role spans the full lifecycle of originating, evaluating, and forming strategic joint ventures with regional and global partners, from initial screening through diligence, structuring, and stakeholder approvals.This is an execution- and analysis-intensive role requiring accuracy, pace, and clear presentation/written communication. It is suited to candidates with a strong foundation in strategy and corporate finance who want hands-on corporate development experience across sectors such as advanced manufacturing, infrastructure, and sustainability.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesOpportunity Screening and Market AnalysisScreen sectors and companies against defined investment criteria and maintain structured screening outputs.Support partner identification and outreach including origination, preparing materials for partner meetings, site visits, and industry events.Conduct industry research to identify and prioritize new business opportunities; distill findings into concise briefs and presentations that support go/no-go decisions.Financial Analysis and ModellingBuild and maintain financial models, including valuation, sensitivity, and scenario analyses.Audit and stress-test financial models and projections received from counterparties and advisors, including verifying key facts and figures against primary sources.Transaction and Partner SupportSupport due diligence by coordinating with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and counterparties, and by maintaining diligence question lists and trackers.Produce high-quality, fast-turnaround materials for senior audiences, including investment memos, one-pagers, and presentation decks for executive committees, partners, and government stakeholders.Stakeholder CoordinationSupport the Director in preparing for meetings with joint venture partners, government entities, regulators, and free zone authorities.Coordinate with advisors, consultants, and financial institutions on active projects.Provide analytical support as opportunities move from evaluation to formation, including KPI tracking and reporting for internal and shareholder use.Minimum Educational, Technical Qualifications/Certifications RequiredBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; proficiency in financial modelling required.Strong command of AI-enabled research and productivity tools, with sound judgment to verify outputs.Strong grasp of valuation and corporate finance fundamentals.
