Corporate Development Associate, Oil and Gas, Global Firm

We are working with a global firm investing in oil and gas, metals and mining and related assets. They are now looking to add a Corporate Development Associate to their team, who will work on the origination and execution of investments for the business.Day to day, this will involve:identification of potential investments for the companycarrying out an initial business, sector and financial review of the targetfinancial modelling of the projected returns on the investmentpresenting analysis to senior managementworking on the negotiation and execution of the deal The successful candidate can expect to work on all aspects of the deal execution process.portfolio management of assetYou are most likely to be working as follows:Associate (or very good senior analyst) in M&A with a major bank or advisorInvestment professional from a private equity or infrastructure fundEnergy, Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Infrastructure experience is useful
