Currently, we are recruiting for a Senior Lawyer.As a Senior Lawyer, you will play a key role in providing legal advice and support to our senior management and project development team. You will be responsible for negotiating and drafting various types of agreements, including land leases, and construction contracts. Additionally, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate legal risks. You’ll guide high-stakes negotiations, safeguard our interests in complex transactions, and ensure our operations remain both compliant and strategically agile. Your expertise will directly influence our ability to expand into new markets, secure transformative deals, and maintain the highest ethical standards.What You'll Do · Provide expert legal advice and support to project development teams across all stages of renewable energy projects.· Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including power purchase agreements, interconnection agreements, land leases, EPC and O&M contracts.· Support the legal aspects of project development strategies, from land acquisition through to financial close and construction.· Conduct legal due diligence on renewable energy projects, including review of permits, contracts, and corporate documentation.· Advise on regulatory, environmental, and permitting issues relevant to renewable energy development.· Work closely with internal stakeholders — including engineering, project management, and commercial teams — to ensure compliance and effective risk management.· Manage and coordinate external counsel across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring quality, efficiency, and consistency.· Stay informed on legal and regulatory developments affecting the renewable energy sector and assess their implications for ongoing and future projects. What You'll BringLaw degree and admission to practice in relevant jurisdiction(s).Mandatory Experience in Contract drafting for mergers and acquisitions (M&A).8+ years of professional legal experience, preferably within renewable energy, infrastructure, or project development.Demonstrated international experience, ideally gained through cross-border transactions or multinational project environments.Proven track record in handling complex transactions and advising C-suite executives.Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to balance legal precision with commercial pragmatism.Strong knowledge of corporate governance, compliance frameworks, and cross-border legal issues.A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate risks and identify opportunities before they arise.Fluent in English (Mandatory); Portuguese and/or Spanish fluency is a strong asset. Ability to operate autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced international environment.High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
