The company has built a substantial platform through strategic acquisitions and organic expansion and continues to pursue significant opportunities across the industry.The company is seeking a junior to midlevel corporate attorney to join its legal team in a broad, hands-on role. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with law firm training who wants to move in-house, gain meaningful business exposure, and play an important role in the continued growth of a sophisticated organization.The position offers a diverse mix of transactional and general corporate work, with direct exposure to senior management and the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as the business expands.ResponsibilitiesSupport the company's active M&A program, including acquisitions, due diligence, transaction documentation, closings, and post-acquisition integration.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor, services, confidentiality, and other business contracts.Assist with corporate finance matters, including credit facilities, financing arrangements, and related documentation.Advise on general corporate matters, governance, and day-to-day legal issues affecting a growing national business.Provide support on employment-related matters, including employment agreements, restrictive covenants, executive compensation arrangements, and issues arising in connection with acquisitions.Work closely with business leaders, finance, HR, and external counsel to develop practical solutions to legal and commercial issues.QualificationsApproximately 2–6 years of experience, preferably with a well-regarded law firm.Strong foundation in corporate and transactional law, including M&A, commercial contracts, corporate finance, or a combination of these areas.Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple matters, exercise sound judgment, and work effectively with business stakeholders.Commercially minded, adaptable, and interested in developing a broad in-house practice.Prior insurance industry experience is not required.Why This Opportunity?This is a particularly attractive opportunity for an attorney seeking a first in-house position.
