Corporate MES Support Specialist

As one of the global leaders in automotive cables and wires, and as part of its ongoing digital transformation, COFICAB Group is recruiting a:Corporate MES Support SpecialistJob PurposeEnsure the effective operation, support, and optimization of MES and SAP manufacturing applications across COFICAB production sites worldwide. The role focuses on Level 2 support, troubleshooting production-related issues, and ensuring seamless integration between SAP Production Planning (PP) and MES systems, while contributing to global rollout projects and continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Level 2 support for SAP PP and MES applications, ensuring system availability and operational continuity.Troubleshoot production-related issues, analyze system incidents, and implement effective solutions.Ensure smooth integration between SAP manufacturing processes and MES applications.Participate in SAP and MES rollout projects across COFICAB sites worldwide.Support deployment activities, system configuration, testing, and go-live operations.Collaborate with global IT, production, automation, and engineering teams to ensure successful implementations.Contribute to the standardization of manufacturing processes, system optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.Support users and maintain technical documentation to facilitate system adoption and operational efficiency.Educational BackgroundEngineering degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Required ExperienceMore than 2 years of professional experience in SAP PP and MES support within a manufacturing environment.Good understanding of production operations, industrial processes, and shopfloor activities.Familiarity with SAP manufacturing processes and the integration between ERP and MES systems.Experience in system troubleshooting, incident management, testing, and deployment activities.Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production data flows.Ability to collaborate effectively with IT, engineering, and production teams.Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.Team spirit, adaptability, and a proactive approach.Willingness to travel internationally and collaborate with teams across multiple sites.Have we sparked your interest?Join COFICAB Group and contribute to the digital transformation of manufacturing operations across our global network.
