Reports To: Director, Enterprise Systems. Team: First hire in a new team; individual contributor initially, may help build out team. Primary Focus: Develop, manage, and optimize dashboards and reports (Power BI, SQL, WebFocus, SAP). Oversee integration of SAP data and manage ETL/data pipelines for reporting. Ensure reliability, accuracy, and performance of reporting solutions. Stakeholder Engagement: Gather and document requirements from business units (Finance, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain). Provide training/support to business users. Act as subject matter expert for reporting platforms. Leadership and Governance: Establish reporting standards and governance frameworks. Align reporting infrastructure strategy with enterprise goals. Drive efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement in reporting processes. Technical Duties: Hands-on development in Power BI (DAX, modeling). Advanced SQL for complex data analysis and reporting. Manage and optimize reporting databases, metadata, and ETL processes. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards. Collaboration: Work with leadership and the parent company (Sysco Foods) on reporting initiatives. Foster cross-functional relationships to support business objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in related field (Master s preferred). Minimum 7 years experience in enterprise reporting/business intelligence. Deep expertise in Power BI, SQL, ETL, and SAP reporting integration. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Work Environment: Full-time, exempt role in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative setting. Hybrid work structure, with occasional travel as required.
