We are looking for a commercially sharp Cosmetics / Makeup Buyer to develop and grow our Beauty category, with primary focus on building a strong Private Label makeup range.The RoleYou will lead the end-to-end development of Private Label Cosmetics / Makeup, from supplier and product selection through sampling, costing, packaging, compliance, launch and in-season management.Key ResponsibilitiesPrivate Label Product Development. Develop makeup ranges across Face, Eyes, Lips and Nails. Identify suitable manufacturers, products, formulas, packaging & concepts. Manage sampling, costing, MOQ, lead times and commercial negotiations. Work with suppliers on shades, claims, artwork, packaging and productspecifications. Coordinate product testing, documentation and regulatory/compliance requirementsRange & Commercial Management. Build balanced assortments by category, shade, price point and product role. Develop price architecture aligned to AFE’s value positioning. Manage cost, margin and intake profitability. Monitor sales, stock, sell-through, ageing and replenishment. Act on repeats, range gaps, slow movers and markdownsTrend & Market. Track UAE/GCC cosmetics trends, competitors, pricing and launches. Identify key formats, shades, ingredients and packaging trends. Translate trends into affordable, commercially relevant products Supplier & Cross-Functional Coordination. Manage suppliers from development through delivery. Coordinate with QC, Planning, Marketing, VM, Logistics and Finance. Ensure product data, barcodes, packaging details and required documents are complete before ordering.Ideal Candidate Profile. 5+ years buying, sourcing or product development experience in Cosmetics / Makeup. Strong knowledge of makeup products, shades, packaging and market trends. Private Label development experience is a must. Good understanding of costing, margins, MOQ and supplier negotiation. Experience dealing with manufacturers and compliance documentation. UAE/GCC beauty retail experience preferred. Commercial, trend-aware and hands-on in execution
