This person will be the financial mind behind every cost figure in the company — tracking production and operational costs, catching variances before they become problems, and delivering financial insights that drive real, impactful decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain accurate cost records, monitored consistently and continuouslyAnalyze production and operational costs in depth, reviewing variances between actual and standard costsContribute to the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completenessPost and review journal entries regularly and preciselyEnsure full compliance with internal controls and accounting standardsPrepare clear, actionable cost reports in collaboration with operations and finance teamsProactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costsSupport budgeting, financial planning, and cost forecasting activitiesQualifications & SkillsStrong, proven hands-on experience in cost accounting, including cost analysis and cost allocationStrong ability to prepare and interpret financial statements accuratelyAdvanced analytical skills to evaluate cost data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendationsPractical experience with journal entries and a solid understanding of finance principlesBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldHigh proficiency in Excel and accounting softwareProficiency with Foodics and ERP systemsExceptional attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teamsPrior experience in manufacturing, food and beverage, or retail environments is preferred, along with familiarity with inventory and cost control processes
