Job SummaryThe Cost Administration Coordinator is responsible for monitoring variance between actual and budgeted costs for projects, accurately entering and reviewing job cost information into database, and ad hoc reporting as requested to assist local management in decision making or other financial initiatives. Also performs various office administration duties as needed.Essential Functions Actively supports the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values.”Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.”Ensure projects establish in accounting system aligning with contractual requirements.Gather and consolidate WBS / Cost Code information and prepare file for upload.Review project month-end cost-to-date and other job cost reports for management.Works closely with Accounting Shared Services to review and confirm invoicing aligns with executed agreement.Assist in rate development for assigned proposal efforts.Enters change orders to project in database and spreadsheet applications; updates approved budget accordingly.Prepares and submits progress report to the client(s) for assigned project(s).Creates journal entries.Generates and analyzes cash flow schedules.Support supervision through the preparation, updating and maintenance of project forecasts, progress, change order logs, schedules as well as analysis and presentation of supporting data. Uploads documents to SharePoint in a timely manner.Performs other duties or responsibilities as required or assigned.Qualifications3+ years of related experience with basic understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures or a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
