Join a business with deep technical roots, where your voice is heard, your impact is visible, and your career is part of a legacy of excellence.YOUR ROLEAs Cost Control Engineer, you willBudgeting & ForecastingAssist in the development and maintenance of project budgets and financial forecasts.Support estimation activities by providing cost trend analysis and historical data insights.Collaborate with Project Managers to revise forecasts based on project progress and changing requirements.Cost Tracking & AnalysisMonitor project expenditures including labor, materials, subcontractors, and overhead costs.Analyze cost performance against budget and identify variances.Investigate deviations and recommend corrective actions.Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost tracking systems and records.Change Management & Variation ControlEvaluate cost impacts of project changes, variations, and scope modifications.Update project forecasts and cost reports following approved changes.Ensure transparent communication of cost implications to stakeholders.Cost ReportingPrepare detailed cost reports, including: Cost-to-Complete (CTC), Cost Variance Analysis, Cash Flow Forecasts, Budget Performance ReportsPresent financial updates and cost insights to project teams and management.Support decision-making through timely and accurate reporting.Risk ManagementIdentify potential cost-related risks and assess their financial implications.Recommend and support implementation of risk mitigation strategies.Contribute cost-related data and analysis to project risk assessments.Cost Database & BenchmarkingMaintain project cost databases and historical cost records.Support benchmarking initiatives using historical project data.Improve forecasting accuracy through standardized cost information management.Stakeholder SupportServe as a key point of contact for cost-related inquiries.Participate in project review meetings and provide financial insights.Promote cost-control best practices across project teams.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORExperienceMinimum 6 years of experience in Cost Control, Project Controls, or Project Cost Management.Proven experience working on large-scale projects within the Oil & Gas, Civil Engineering, or Power sectors.Demonstrated experience in cost forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting.Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments.Education and CertificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.Certified Cost Professional (CCP) certification from AACE International or equivalent.
