The role shall be competent to ensure effective budget control, cost forecasting, productivity monitoring, and project profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain project budgets, cost codes, and Cost Breakdown Structure .Monitor actual, committed, and forecast costs against approved budgets.Prepare monthly Cost Reports, CTC, cash-flow forecasts, and variance analysis.Monitor manpower, manhours, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and project overhead costs.Analyze manpower productivity, equipment utilization, material consumption, and cost per unit of production.Coordinate with Planning, Commercial, Procurement, Finance, Construction, and HR teams to ensure accurate cost reporting.Monitor project changes, variations, claims, and potential cost exposures.Identify cost overruns and productivity issues at an early stage and recommend corrective actions.Support project management in resource optimization and cost reduction.Prepare management dashboards and present project cost performance to senior management.Ensure integration of cost, progress, schedule, and resource data.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, knowledge in Quantity Surveying, Finance, Accounting, or related field.12–15+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Oil & Gas/EPC/construction subcontracting.Strong experience in own-resource/direct manpower cost control.Good knowledge of manpower, equipment, material, procurement, and cost control at subcontractor level.Strong Excel skills; experience in SAP/ERP and Power BI preferred.GCC experience preferred.Strong analytical, reporting, forecasting, and communication skills.Professional certification such as AACE/CCP, CMA, PMP is an advantage.
