Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Cost Control Section, ensuring the effective execution of all cost control activities in line with project requirements.Supervise, mentor, and develop the cost control team, ensuring effective performance and task allocation.Develop, implement, and maintain cost control procedures, policies, and reporting standards.Oversee the tracking and monitoring of project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead expenses.Review and consolidate cost reports, forecasts, cost-to-complete projections, cost variances, and cash flow analyses.Monitor project budgets and ensure that actual and forecasted costs remain aligned with approved budgets.Review cost estimates and ensure that changes in project scope, design, or execution are reflected in updated cost forecasts.Lead the evaluation and approval process for cost changes, including change orders, claims, and variations.Collaborate with Project Managers and senior management to assess project financial performance and identify potential cost risks.Provide periodic cost performance reports, highlighting deviations, financial exposure, and recommended corrective actions.Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, company policies, and applicable financial regulations.Support internal and external audits and ensure the accuracy and completeness of cost control documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.10+ years of relevant experience in cost control, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.Strong understanding of project cost management, budgeting, cost forecasting, and financial analysis.Proven experience in monitoring project costs, analyzing variances, and preparing cost-to-complete forecasts and cash flow reports.Solid knowledge of change orders, claims, variations, and project financial controls.Expertise in cost management systems such as Prolog, SAP, or Oracle.Good knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar project scheduling tools.Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications.CCC/CCE certification or equivalent cost engineering certification is an advantage.Primavera P6 training/certification and PMP certification are advantages.Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent written and spoken English.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.Why Join Korra Energi?At Korra Energi, you will discover a distinctive culture and value system that sets us apart.
