Apply & track with Apply EdgeCost Control Specialist / Senior Cost Control Specialist – PMODammam, Saudi ArabiaSaudi Nationals OnlyCost Control Specialist – Up to SAR 15,000/monthSenior Cost Control Specialist – Up to SAR 18,000/monthTotal monthly package + standard company benefitsTalentHive is partnering with a well-established Saudi group undergoing significant growth and transformation to strengthen its PMO and Cost Control function.We are looking to appoint both a Cost Control Specialist and Senior Cost Control Specialist to support a diverse portfolio of businesses across heavy equipment and equipment rental, transportation, facilities and workforce services, catering, accommodation and other supporting services.These are hands-on Cost Control positions where you will work closely with PMO, Finance, and Operations, helping management understand not only where costs currently stand, but where they are heading and what action is needed.What You'll Be DoingYou will be responsible for areas including:Monitoring actual costs and commitments against approved budgets.Preparing and regularly updating cost forecasts.Managing ETC, EAC and cost-to-complete analysis.Analysing direct, indirect and operational cost drivers.Identifying cost variances and investigating their root causes.Assessing the cost impact of operational or scope changes.Identifying cost overruns, inefficiencies and opportunities for savings.Recommending and supporting corrective actions.Producing cost reports, dashboards and management analysis.Providing visibility around current costs, future expenditure and profitability.Validating cost information and ensuring reporting accuracy.Working closely with Finance, PMO and operational stakeholders.Supporting improvements to cost-control processes, governance and reporting across multiple business units.What We're Looking ForWe're interested in candidates with genuine hands-on Cost Control experience who understand the practical mechanics behind the numbers.You should be comfortable working across:Actual Costs → Commitments → ETC → EAC / Forecast → Variance → Root Cause → Corrective Action → ProfitabilityWe are particularly interested in candidates who can explain how they personally build and maintain forecasts, where their cost data comes from, how they identify variances and what they do when costs begin moving away from plan.Relevant experience could come from:Cost Control / Cost EngineeringProject ControlsCost AnalysisProject Finance / Commercial Cost ControlEPC / Construction / InfrastructureOil & Gas / Industrial ServicesHeavy Equipment / Equipment RentalTransportation / LogisticsFacilities or other asset-intensive/service environmentsYou do not need to come from exactly the same industry.
