Cost Control Specialist

Location: Dubai, UAEIndustry: Food & Beverage / Catering / Meat Retail*IMPORTANT: MUST BE ABLE TO JOIN IMMEDIATELY* Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Controller to join our team in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring operational costs, maintaining accurate costing records, analyzing food and inventory costs, and ensuring cost efficiency across our retail, kitchen, and catering operations.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and control food costs, operational expenses, and overall cost efficiency.Prepare and maintain accurate recipe costing sheets, technical sheets, and product costings.Analyze ingredient prices, supplier quotations, and purchase costs to identify savings opportunities.Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, wastage, and stock variances.Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.Track food cost percentages and investigate discrepancies between theoretical and actual costs.Maintain accurate costing databases, supplier price lists, and inventory records.Collaborate with purchasing, kitchen, warehouse, and operations teams to improve cost control.Prepare periodic cost reports, variance analyses, and management reports.Ensure accurate portion costing, yield calculations, and recipe specifications.Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve margins, and optimize purchasing.Support menu pricing and profitability analysis for catering and food service operations.RequirementsPrevious experience in cost control within the F&B, catering, food production, or hospitality industry.Strong understanding of food costing, inventory management, recipe costing, and stock reconciliation.Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data analysis.Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to work with large datasets and meet reporting deadlines.Experience with inventory management or ERP systems is an advantage.Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across departmentsCandidates with relevant experience may send their CV to +971 50 367 9344.
