The company is committed to scalable systems and experience-led hospitality, creating destinations guests choose for a wide range of occasions.Role Description The Cost Controller role at Chocoberry is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This role is responsible for monitoring and controlling costs across café operations, including tracking food, beverage, labor, and overhead expenses against budgets and forecasts. Day-to-day tasks include preparing cost reports, analyzing variances, supporting pricing decisions, and collaborating with finance and operations teams to improve cost efficiency without compromising guest experience. The Cost Controller will oversee cost accounting records, assist in setting and reviewing cost standards, and recommend actions to enhance profitability. The role also involves supporting month-end closing activities, maintaining accurate financial documentation, and contributing to the development of scalable cost management processes as the brand expands.Chocoberry is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Controller to join our growing finance team. If you have a passion for numbers, food & beverage operations, and driving profitability, we'd love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities• Monitor and control food & beverage costs across all outlets.• Analyze recipe costing, menu engineering, and product profitability.• Conduct inventory audits and stock variance analysis.• Review daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports.• Monitor purchasing, receiving, and store procedures.• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality.• Reconcile inventory movements and investigate discrepancies.• Prepare management reports and KPI dashboards.• Coordinate with Operations, Kitchen, Procurement, and Finance teams.• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related discipline.Minimum 2–4 years of Cost Control experience, preferably in the Restaurant, Café, Bakery, Hospitality, or F&B industry.Strong knowledge of inventory management, recipe costing, food cost analysis, and financial reporting.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP/POS systems is an advantage.Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Candidates available for immediate joining will be given preference.📍 Location: Dubai, UAEIf you're ready to be part of one of the fastest-growing café brands, we'd love to hear from you!📩 Apply by sending your CV to infouae@chocoberrycafe.com or send us a direct message.
