Cost Controller – MechanicalLocation: Saudi Arabia – Onshore Project SitesEmployment: Permanent | Company-sponsored visaAbout the CompanyOur client is an established industrial services contractor supporting major oil and gas, petrochemical and refinery facilities across Saudi Arabia. The company specialises in onshore plant maintenance, shutdowns and turnaround projects, particularly involving static equipment such as heat exchangers, columns, reactors, vessels and tanks.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor project budgets, forecasts and actual expenditure.Track manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractor costs.Prepare regular cost reports and variance analyses.Verify timesheets, invoices and equipment utilisation.Monitor scope changes, additional work and variation costs.Coordinate with Planning, Mechanical, Procurement, Finance and Project teams.Support project cost reconciliation and close-out reporting.Candidate RequirementsQualification in Mechanical Engineering.Cost-control experience within the oil and gas, petrochemical or refinery industry.Shutdown and turnaround experience is strongly preferred.Exposure to static-equipment maintenance projects.Experience with EPC, industrial maintenance or shutdown contractors.Saudi Arabia or wider GCC experience is preferred.Strong Excel, reporting and analytical skills.Good English communication skills.Willingness to work at onshore project sites and within demanding shutdown schedules, typically lasting around 45 days.
