Cost Manager

An established international cost consultancy is looking to appoint a Cost Manager to join its growing Dubai team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious quantity surveying professional to work on a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects across the Middle East.The successful candidate will have experience across both pre-contract and post-contract cost management services and will be looking to develop their career within a collaborative and professional consultancy environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver cost management services throughout the full project lifecycle.Prepare cost plans, estimates and feasibility studies.Undertake tender documentation, tender analysis and procurement advice.Manage valuations, payment applications and cost reporting.Assess and negotiate variations and change control.Prepare final accounts and support project close-out.Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.Assist in maintaining high standards of commercial and contractual advice.RequirementsDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.Minimum 2 years' experience, with 5–7 years' experience being highly desirable.Consultancy experience in cost management/quantity surveying.Strong knowledge of both pre-contract and post-contract services.Experience using CostX is highly desirable.MRICS qualified or currently working towards chartership is preferred.Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
