Position: Costing Analyst – Manufacturing / Production (SAP S/4HANA – Mandatory)Location: Business Bay, DubaiDepartment: Finance / Costing / OperationsReports To: Finance Manager / Cost ControllerJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly analytical and detail-driven Costing Analyst to monitor and control costs across multiple manufacturing and production units. This role requires strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA, deep understanding of production costing, and the ability to analyze variances, identify inefficiencies, and drive cost optimization.The ideal candidate must be capable of tracking actual vs standard consumption, validating production data, and highlighting operational gaps with clear, actionable reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and analyze end-to-end production costing across multiple manufacturing unitsTrack and validate Bill of Materials (BOM) vs actual raw material consumption, identifying variances and inefficienciesAnalyze raw material cost, activity cost, and operational/production costsMonitor expected production vs actual output, identifying shortfalls and performance gapsReview daily production data, verify accuracy, and highlight issues such as:Higher raw material consumptionLower production outputProcess inefficiencies and wastageWork closely with production teams to collect, verify, and validate production dataIdentify loopholes and cost leakages in production processes and recommend corrective actionsDrive cost reduction initiatives by controlling material usage and improving operational efficiencyMaintain and update costing data and structures in SAP S/4HANAPrepare detailed MIS reports, variance analysis, and cost performance reports for managementSupport budgeting, forecasting, and standard costing processesEnsure accuracy and integrity of cost data through strict verification and validation checksCoordinate with finance, production, and supply chain teams for data alignment and reportingMandatory Requirements4–8+ years of experience in costing / production cost analysisHands-on SAP S/4HANA experience (compulsory) — especially costing, production, and inventory modulesStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and production costingProven experience in BOM analysis vs actual consumption trackingStrong expertise in analysis and cost controlAdvanced Excel skills (mandatory) — data analysis, reporting, and reconciliationExperience handling large volumes of production data with high accuracyPreferred BackgroundExperience in food manufacturing / food processing industry is highly preferredExperience managing costing across multiple production units or plantsFamiliarity with standard costing, activity-based costing, and production KPIsSkills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving mindsetHigh attention to detail with a verification-driven approachAbility to identify inefficiencies and drive cost optimizationStrong coordination skills with production and operations teamsExcellent reporting and presentation skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, data-intensive environmentQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Costing, or related fieldProfessional certifications (CMA / ACCA – partly or fully qualified) are an advantage
