Counter Sales Representative – Plumbing SupplyPlumbers Wholesale Supply – 8 Mile BranchPlumbers Wholesale Supply is hiring a dependable, customer-focused Counter Sales Representative for our 8 Mile branch in Detroit.PWS has been serving the trade since 1957 and operates two Metro Detroit locations. We support plumbers, contractors, maintenance teams, property managers, and other trade customers with plumbing products, knowledgeable service, and dependable support.This is a full-time counter sales position focused on helping customers in person and over the phone, processing orders accurately, and coordinating with our fulfillment and delivery teams to make sure customers receive the right material on time.What You’ll DoAssist customers with orders, product questions, availability, and practical product solutionsEnter and process orders accurately, including cash, credit card, and account transactionsVerify products, quantities, and special requests before orders are completedFollow up on customer requests, quotes, and open ordersWork closely with fulfillment to ensure orders are prepared correctlyCoordinate with drivers to verify outgoing deliveries, customer instructions, and delivery timingAssist with orders from other PWS sales channels when neededOccasionally help locate or verify material to support customer ordersWhat We’re Looking ForExperience or familiarity with plumbing, HVAC, construction, building materials, distribution, or a related tradeStrong customer service and communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and order accuracyDependable, organized, and comfortable managing multiple customer needsBasic computer skills and willingness to learn our order-entry and point-of-sale systemsPositive, solution-oriented attitude and ability to work well with sales, fulfillment, warehouse, and delivery teamsDirect plumbing supply experience is a strong plus, but not required for the right candidate.A valid Michigan Chauffeur’s License and safe driving history are strongly preferred, but not required.Qualified candidates may occasionally assist with local deliveries when additional support is needed.
