Company Description Whole Foods Trading Company has been operating in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for over 20 years, specializing in agricultural commodities. The company distributes products throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and serves a diverse customer base in the food and grocery sector. Whole Foods Trading is the exclusive distribution agent for Deer Isabgul, providing trusted, established brands to the market. In addition, the company trades in pulses, rice, spices, and related food items, offering a broad product portfolio and stable long-term operations for team members.Role Description The Counter Sales role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah. The team member will greet customers, understand their needs, and provide product information and recommendations, with a focus on agricultural commodities such as pulses, rice, and spices. Daily tasks include processing sales transactions, preparing invoices, handling cash and electronic payments, and maintaining an organized, well-stocked counter area. The role involves answering customer queries, resolving basic issues, and coordinating with the warehouse or inventory team to ensure product availability. The Counter Sales team member will also support promotional activities, assist in merchandising, and follow company policies and safety procedures.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with diverse customers and colleagues.Candidates should possess Sales and Sales Management skills to meet sales targets, manage the sales counter, and support basic inventory and product placement decisions.Candidates should possess Training capabilities to help new team members understand products, processes, and customer service standards.Basic knowledge of agricultural commodities (e.g., pulses, rice, spices) or willingness to learn quickly is beneficial.Prior experience in retail, grocery, or counter sales is preferred but not mandatory.Ability to work on-site in Jeddah, stand for extended periods, and handle cash and POS systems with accuracy.Organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Arabic,Urdu/Hindi
