Country Director

We are conducting a search on behalf of an established international oilfield services company in Indonesia for an experienced Country Director to lead the company’s Indonesian operations, commercial growth and market expansion.Role Overview:This is the most senior leadership position within the Indonesia business, with responsibility for an organisation across Wireline and Coiled Tubing operations. The role combines operational leadership with a strong commercial mandate — managing the established business while driving growth, winning new projects and expanding the company’s service portfolio in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the overall Indonesia business and country operationsDrive business development and revenue growth across existing and new customersDevelop senior-level relationships with operators and key decision-makers across the Indonesian Oil & Gas marketIdentify, pursue and secure new projects and business opportunitiesExpand the company’s portfolio beyond its existing footprintIdentify opportunities across different oilfield services segments and build business cases for further market expansionProvide hands-on leadership, coaching and development while strengthening accountability across the organisationBalance operational performance, people leadership and commercial prioritiesAct as the senior company representative in Indonesia, strengthening market presence, client relationships and brand visibilityQualifications & Experience:15+ years’ experience within Oil & Gas, ideally within the oilfield services sectorApproximately 5–7+ years of leadership/management experienceStrong operational background, preferably within Production or Evaluation servicesExperience across Wireline, Coiled Tubing, drilling, cementing, testing, production services or other OFS segments can be consideredProven experience managing and developing teams within an operational environmentStrong commercial and business-development mindset, with experience developing client relationships and winning projectsStrong knowledge of the Indonesian Oil & Gas market and operator landscapeAbility to combine strategic leadership with a visible, hands-on operational approachThis is a strong opportunity for an established Indonesian OFS leader to take full ownership of a country operation and play a key role in its next phase of growth, with potential for broader regional responsibility as the business expands.
