Country Head - Saudi Arabia

About ZAGHAMIZAGHAMI is a distribution and manufacturing group serving the oil and gas, energy, industrial and infrastructure sectors across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the UAE. In the Kingdom, we represent more than 14 international principals across two divisions: mechanical (passive fire protection, structural fixing and supports, raised access flooring) and electrical (cable management, earthing and lightning protection, cable connections, enclosures, and electrical systems and lighting), supplying EPC contractors, oil and gas and industrial end-users, and Vision 2030 giga-projects.The roleWe are appointing a Country Head to lead and grow our Saudi business. This is a full P&L role reporting directly to the Board, with ownership of revenue, margin, the sales organisation and our principal relationships in the Kingdom.ZAGHAMI is looking for the right person to lead an ambitious growth mandate for 2027. The successful candidate will inherit an established platform, including a qualified project pipeline, approved-maker positions on major Kingdom projects and long-standing principal relationships, together with the authority to scale it.What you will ownFull P&L for the Kingdom: revenue, gross margin, cost base and profitA sales organisation of around ten, managed across Dammam, Riyadh and JeddahThe specification agenda, including consultants, PMCs and EPCs through to approved-maker statusSenior relationships with our international principalsKey account development and customer diversificationWorking capital: collections, inventory and stock-to-order conversionWhat we are looking for12+ years in industrial or technical distribution serving the oil and gas and industrial sectors, including 5+ years of full country or regional P&L ownership.A record of delivering SAR 100m+ in annual revenue, with the ability to evidence the margin at which it was delivered.A strong oil and gas and industrial background, including refineries, petrochemical and process plants, power and utilities, and the plant maintenance, shutdown and turnaround market.A deep Saudi network across EPC contractors, consultants, industrial end-users and the energy sector.Experience managing international principal or agency relationships, including joint business planning, specification and approvals.Proven ability to build and manage a sales team distributed across the Kingdom and hold it accountable to its numbers.A hunter rather than a custodian: someone who personally opens new accounts.Working knowledge of our product categories, including passive fire protection, structural fixing and supports, raised access flooring, cable management, earthing and lightning protection, cable connections, enclosures, and electrical systems and lighting.Willingness to travel within the Kingdom and internationally as the business requires.Transferable Iqama or eligibility to work in the Kingdom; valid Saudi driving licence; fluent English.What we offerA direct line to the Board and shareholders, with decisions in days, not quarters.Competitive fixed package, revenue and net profit linked incentive structure.A defined mandate and the authority to deliver it.To applyPlease send a CV that states, for each of your last two roles, the revenue carried, gross margin delivered, and size of the team led.
