Country Head Serbia

We are looking for a senior pharmaceutical business leader with strong knowledge of the Serbian market and a proven track record in commercial leadership, business performance and people management. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen with a good understanding of Market Access and is capable of leading the overall local business in a matrix organization. The candidate should be sufficiently senior and commercially mature to take ownership of local business performance while remaining hands-on and closely connected to the market, customers and team.INSPHARMA is an agile pharmaceutical company built on trust, expertise, and deep market knowledge. Its vision is to be the most agile and trustworthy company in the medical marketing sector within its region.Must-have• 5–8+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.• Strong knowledge of the Serbian pharmaceutical and healthcare market, its structure, key players and business environment.• Proven commercial and/or sales responsibility with a strong track record of delivering business results.• Experience with budget planning, forecasting and business performance management.• Proven people management experience and ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.• Good understanding of the Serbian Market Access environment, including reimbursement, pricing and access pathways.• Ability to connect Commercial, Marketing and Market Access perspectives when developing the local business.• Experience working cross-functionally and coordinating multiple functions.• Strong external and internal stakeholder management skills.• Ability to operate effectively within a matrix organization.• Sufficient seniority, business judgement and maturity to take ownership of local business decisions.• Strong digital and AI acumen, with openness to adopting AI-enabled tools and new technologies to improve business performance and ways of working.• Fluent Serbian and English.Strong Preference• Previous experience as Country Manager/Head, Business Unit Manager, Commercial Manager/Director, Sales Manager/Director or Market Access & Commercial Lead.• Direct P&L responsibility or significant responsibility for P&L performance.• Direct experience with Market Access strategy, reimbursement, pricing and relevant Serbian institutions/payers.• Proven experience with new product launches combining Commercial, Marketing and Market Access activities.• Cross-functional exposure to Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Regulatory and Supply Chain.• Experience in a small or mid-sized pharmaceutical organization where senior leaders are expected to operate hands-on.• Demonstrated ability to lead change, introduce new ways of working and promote digital and AI adoption.What We Are Looking for Beyond the CV• Ownership – takes responsibility for overall business results rather than only their own function.• Commercial mindset – understands what drives growth and profitability.• Leadership maturity – can make decisions, set priorities and lead people through change.• Cross-functional mindset – naturally connects Sales, Marketing, Market Access and other functions.• External orientation – understands the market and builds strong stakeholder relationships.• Hands-on approach – comfortable operating in a relatively lean organization.• Entrepreneurial mindset – identifies opportunities and turns them into action.• Digital & AI mindset – curious about new technologies and actively looks for opportunities to use AI and digital tools to improve productivity, insights and business performance.Applications are open until September 20th.
