Country Manager

We are hiring a Country Manager for a global name in the consumer goods industry. They run a lean operation with a large third-party distribution network. The role requires a commercially strong, hands-on leader who understands the Saudi market deeply and can drive growth through all channels. You have grown up through sales and distribution management. Deep understanding of the street level and have progressed upwards to manage the business economics, channel choices and distributor strategy and stakeholder relationships. You have owned the P&L (revenue + gross margin + trade spend + forecasting) , managed a substantial distributor relationship. Walk the balance between principal objectives and distributor economics. Commercial maturity to manage senior leadership in an established distributor. Can manage the two different ecosystems of modern and traditional trade through your team and know what is happening on the ground. 15+ years of progressive commercial / sales experience in the consumer goods industry. Strong command of Saudi route-to-market dynamics, wholesale, retail execution and distributor economics. Strong senior-level negotiation and stakeholder management capability. An ideal mix of experience - combination of distributor and principal.
